Medcaptain Wins Prize for Best Visual Identity

The Transform Awards Asia 2023, organised by Transform Magazine, the world’s leading magazine focusing on brand development and rebranding, was held in Shanghai on 20 November 2023 to celebrate the transformative power of rebranding.

Medcaptain won the Gold Award for Best visual identity from the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, securing prestigious recognition for exceptional brand identity and design.

To support the company’s strategy of business diversification and global market expansion, Medcaptain launched a comprehensive brand refresh in February of this year. The new brand slogan, “moments to care,” represents Medcaptain’s passion and unwavering determination to move forward in the medical and healthcare field steadily, continuously and rapidly.

The new logo is inspired by the concept of “Captain”, wherein two oblique strokes of the letter “M” resemble raised sails, forming a pair of ships sailing together beside a purple trapezoidal pattern below. This pattern signifies Medcaptain’s unyielding commitment to innovation and progress in the medical device sector, conveying a long-term vision for moving forward shoulder-to-shoulder with customers and partners.

The logo, with its distinctive blend of “progressive purple” and “deep black”, emphasises Medcaptain’s dynamic, innovative and proficient brand image.
