The unique patented carrier gas compensation system ensures optimum drug consumption, delivering accurate agent output even at low flow rates. The vaporizer continuously compensates for changes in the O₂, Air and N₂O mixture set by the anaesthetist.
The lightweight, intuitive design of the Sigma EVA makes it easy to transport and use. The vaporizer can be fitted to the majority of anaesthesia machines in use today, and is compatible with Selectatec®, Dräger Plug-In®, and Dräger Auto-Exclusion backbar mounting systems. The vaporizer is approved for use with desflurane and can be quickly and easily filled using the SAFE-FIL® or Piramal Fill® filling system.
The large capacity reservoir can accommodate more than a whole bottle of desflurane enabling continuous use for long periods. The illuminated level indicator shows how much agent is available, even in subdued lighting conditions.
