New PRVC and Anaesthetic Gas Monitoring Options for the Prima 460

The Prima 460 Anaesthetic Machine is now available with (PRVC) Pressure Regulated Volume Control ventilation mode. PRVC is a mandatory mode of ventilation in which the ventilator attempts to achieve set tidal volumes at lowest possible airway pressure.

In addition, the Prima 460 is now available with either Masimo® ISA AX+ or ISA OR+ anaesthetic gas monitoring. The anaesthetic gas monitoring options of the Prima 460 provide clinicians with real-time, accurate and continuous measurement of inspired and expired CO₂, N₂O, Halothane, Isoflurane, Enflurane, Sevoflurane, and Desflurane with automatic agent identification and optional paramagnetic O₂ measurements.
