Guru Krishnamoorthy, Penlon's CEO, recently took part in a Royal Academy of Engineering webinar called 'Innovation in a crisis - one year on: Reuniting VentilatorChallengeUK'. The webinar looked back at how the Consortium successfully delivered nearly 13,000 ventilators to the NHS in only three months. Panellists at the event online event, chaired by Elspeth Finch MBE, included some of the key players from the VentilatorChallengeUK Consortium, including Guru Krishnamoorthy, Dick Elsey (CEO of High Value Manufacturing Catapult), Gareth Rhys Williams (Government Chief Commercial Officer and Non-Executive Director, Crown Commercial Service). During the event, key players revisit their experiences, discuss lessons they have learned, and what they have taken forward for rapid innovation and scale-up in their day jobs.
