MMTL is a global organisation focused on integrated perioperative solutions in Medication delivery, Airway management, In-vitro diagnostics and DVT Prevention. MMTL markets innovative products and solutions to meet clinical needs and has created significant intellectual property in this space. MMTL has a wide global presence and has been growing rapidly across international markets, including China. Penlon, through this strategic alliance, will benefit hugely by working with MMTL by expanding the products and solutions in the Operating Theatre and Respiratory Care much beyond the current range. It will also allow Penlon to bring new products to the market at a much faster pace by leveraging the vast engineering talent pool of MMTL. Penlon’s core domain strength in Anaesthesia and Ventilation technology, with the capabilities and complementing innovative technologies at MMTL, will enable the combined organisation to target significant growth in these markets. Penlon’s presence in markets such as China, Latin America and the EU will also be significantly strengthened, enabling accelerated growth. The current leadership team at Penlon continues to focus on driving the company’s growth plan. This was significantly assisted by its lead role in the Ventilator Challenge UK project when Penlon, with the help of a consortium of leading British Industrial giants, produced and supplied to the NHS over 11,000 Emergency use ventilators within a 14 week period.
