A
new Anaesthesia System, Prima SP is now available from Penlon
Limited, the Abingdon, UK anaesthesia equipment manufacturer.
The modular
design of the Prima SP makes it an ideal vehicle for optimal
mounting of any currently available anaesthesia monitoring
system. Options include a large over-shelf, and choice of
pole-mount or mid-shelf mounting for Flat Screen Displays.
The introduction
of the modular Penlon Prima SP continues the debate on the
advantages and disadvantages of the integrated anaesthesia
workstation.
A Prima SP plus the customer's preferred monitoring system
is a complete theatre solution for the life-cost conscious
clinician who needs the benefits of an integrated system without
sacrificing quality, choice of layout, or risking total system
shutdown in the event of single component failure.
Continuous
and accelerated development of monitoring equipment can
result in total system obsoletion well before the end of
the ten-year minimum lifespan of the anaesthetic machine
on which the monitor system is mounted.
Prima SP allows the monitoring system to evolve to meet
the clinician's changing needs, while protecting the initial
investment in a gas machine.
The
attractive, contemporary design of the Prima SP includes
an inboard CO2 Absorber, optional
dual flow Air and Mechanical AHD.
An integrated Oxygen Monitor is also available, together
